WHAT OUR STUDENTS SAY

CHIE YAMADA

(BA English and American Literature, Aoyama Gakuin University)

ENL helped me improve my English skills a lot. Not only will you be learning how to read and write, but you also get to communicate with friendly teachers, so I really enjoyed going to class every week. I studied for the TOEIC test and took practice exams during class. This helped me get a high score and get into the school that I want.

SOSHI OYAMA

(Grade 5, International School Manila)

This is my 3rd year enrolling in ENL. Teachers treat you with respect and kindness and support you. They are pretty much always there for you every time you need help with your studies. Thus, I was able to maintain high grades in all my subjects. I have wonderful memories with this ENL team, and I hope I can continue to grow through ENL. My time in ENL was more than awesome - it was spectacular! I hope you will have one, too. Choosing to study at ENL is worth your time and money.

RISA OZAKI

(Grade 6, Nord Anglia International School)

I am so happy when I am taking ENL classes because the teachers are so friendly and fun. Especially, I want to say thank you very much to my teacher. She is always smiling even when she has a hard time with her work and she doesn’t get mad when I get a bad score in our tests. I think ENL is the best academy!

YEONWOO CHAE

(Grade 4, Aju Elementary School)

I really like ENL, especially my teacher. She helped me to get better at English when I was struggling at first. She always makes me laugh in class and helps me to improve my English skills. I always want to thank her for helping me this whole time. Other teachers in ENL are also kind and helpful.

MS. NAOKO OKIMOTO
(Japanese Peace Activist)

I studied at ENL in 2017 to prepare for the TOEFL, which was required to apply for a scholarship program for a master's degree. Thanks to my teacher, who was very caring and dedicated, I was able to study efficiently for the TOEFL iBT, although it has been more than 20 years since I first took it. I successfully got more than the required score of 90, was able to enter graduate school the following year, and finished dual MA degrees at the University for Peace in Costa Rica and Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. Last year, when I took the TOEFL iBT again, my score even reached 102. I am very thankful that I was able to study at ENL when I was preparing for my graduate studies.

Teachers in ENL can teach advanced levels of the different areas of English such as reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary. They can even help students like me to prepare for English tests like TOEFL. With the help of my teachers, I really improved my English skills. Now, I am getting ready for university and I know I can use the skills I got from ENL in the future.

TEACHER CAMILLE

ENL taught me to open myself to more challenges in English language teaching. The trust and support they've given made me believe that I can teach, reach, and change lives. I've worked in ENL for more than a year now, and I'm beyond grateful that I found a home that can genuinely mold me into the great teacher I've dreamed of becoming someday.

TEACHER SHANI

I'm grateful to ENL for giving me a sense of stability and normalcy during the pandemic. My daily classes allow me to connect with students from different backgrounds and explore new aspects of teaching, and our faculty meetings give me a much-needed sense of community during this time. Thanks to these experiences and the supportive admin, ENL makes me feel valued as a teacher and as a person.

TEACHER LYZA

ENL has made me the teacher I am today. It allowed me to help students mold their abilities and boost their confidence in using the English language. ENL gives us learning opportunities by introducing new instructional methods to be able to make a real difference in the lives of both young and adult learners. They bring out our passion to share the love of learning to our students.

TEACHER ANGEL

ENL has shaped me greatly to be the teacher that I am now because of its integrity toward its vision as an academic institution. The unwavering dedication and passion of the team, from the management to the staff, are shared concepts that recharge every individual. The well-prepared seminars and trainings have also helped me increase my professional knowledge and skills, motivating me to emulate my great colleagues. Also, the academy is genuinely involved not just in the welfare of the students, but also of the staff; we are a family that loves and supports each other's professional and personal endeavors. Being a part of this team will always be one of my life's highlights and something that I will always be grateful to God for.

TEACHER COLEEN

The academy helped me have a work-life balance. Working at ENL gave me the ability to take control of my schedule so I can make time for things that I want to pursue and, at the same time, be an effective teacher to my wonderful students.  In addition, I was able to work with an amazing group that gives support to its teachers. It's great to be a part of the ENL faculty!

TEACHER CATHY

I've worked for big companies before where there are over a hundred employees; learned a lot of things and met a few good people. But being part of the ENL family is by far the best career move I’ve made. I get the chance to work with a dedicated team of driven and whip-smart individuals who are generous with their knowledge, always hungry for new challenges, and an absolute delight to work alongside with. I always have the opportunity to learn more, even beyond my comfort zone, because the family is a team of kindhearted colleagues who always got my back.
